SOUM - Continuous Improvement
Nicolas has left for Qatar !
He is replaced by Laurent on the SOUM project. His main assignments will be to define the new roofing needs, selecting the tradespeople and getting the work started. Laurent will continue the actions undertaken by Nicolas, and his first assignment will be the integration of the rotor manufacture. |

ARTZAINAK is branching out into the manufacture and sale of high quality agricultural machinery, rotating tools of the brand LAGARDE. Drillstar will manufacture the rotors, and in particular the welding workshop will be kept very active. |

After much discussion and research, Drillstar has decided to embark on a Volunteer for International Experience project, with Nicolas Pineau.
Nicolas will leave his position with the projet "SOUM", and a departure for Qatar is programmed for the beginning of March 2010. |

Jérôme PORFIRIO is appointed Managing Director of DRILLSTAR Industries. 40 years old, a qualified Engineer of Applied Industrial Arts, Jérôme began his career in various mechanical engineering companies in South-West France : aeronautics foundry, metallurgy of powders, cold rollforming, machining. His arrival will enable an untroubled departure for Jacques Bourda, towards a well-deserved retirement. |

The AK group is an industrial group based in Mauléon in the Basque Country. Drillstar’s integration reflects a continuation of the group’s strategy : development through the acquisition of technical know-how, backed up by a proven research ability.
