Basket subs, also called junk subs, are used during milling operations in order to retrieve the heavy cuttings and prevent them from settling at the bottom of the borehole. Two or more basket subs can be run on top of each other to improve the junk retrieval capacity.

Drillstar Industries supplies basket subs in all standard and custom diameters, with connections machined and finished according to API standards.They are made of high-strength alloy and heat treated to provide optimal resistance to wear. Weldments are controlled individually according to our quality procedures.
