Basket subs, also called junk subs, are used during milling operations in order to retrieve small pieces of junk and swarf from the bottom of the hole
Two or more junk baskets can be run on top of each other to improve the junk retrieval capacity.
Drillstar Technologies supplies junk baskets in all standard and custom diameters, with connections machined and finished according to API standards.
They are made of high-strength alloy and heat treated to provide optimal resistance to wear. The cup can be welded or attached in a way that enables easy inspection (recommended to verify the body integrity).
